Well Gramma in her infident wisdom decided this past weekend might be a good one to traverse the Maize.. Based on the weather report ... Cool and Rainy on Sat and only about 78 on Sunday.. Well Saturday happened the way it was supposed to but Sunday while starting off gloomy and chilly, by the time we reached the Maize was HOT MUDDY and HUMID .. especially once we got into the Maze and the tall corn kept the breezes away. The Amazing Maize Maze has about two and a half miles of pathways in a 7 acre corn field. The paths are then lined with colored ribbon to help you get and keep your bearing while traversing the maze. There is also a map (sort of). The problem is that in order to complete the map you have to visit 12 mail boxes scattered around the Maize. We managed to find two mailboxes out of the 12 and then the heat and humidity got to us wimps and we headed for the Jump N Plays figuring at least Samantha would have some fun before heading home. We did stop at Friendly's before heading to the Maize where Samantha declared she had the BEST chicken fingers, the BEST drink and the BEST ice cream Sunday!
Hailey started out Sat Night with us but then decided she needed Mommy and we took her home at 9pm.. Good thing to the way the Maize turned out
