OUR OWN AMERICAN FLAG

This flag, down through the years

Has led our men to victory

As countless times they've fought And bled

to keep our nation free.

It's stripes of red and white so bright

And stars on field of blue

Proclaim to all man's equal rights

And faith in justice, too.

And as it gently soars above,

This message it unfurls:

May God's great gift of brotherly love

Bring peace to all the world.

Long may it wave o're land and sea

and every mountain craig:

This symbol of sweet liberty

Our own American Flag.
