Judy has now traveled with Mike to Yokohama, Japan where they both are involved in the implementation of a new company dealing with communications issues in the Internet World.
As Internet Product Development Coordinator for DataQuick, Judy played a single point of contact role between sales, programming and product development staff. Her duties involve the development and implementation of an Internet training program for sales and office staff within Dataquick Corporate and its regional offices. She also manages product development for general Internet products.. She manages enhancements and new links to our existing web page. Judy also supports the development and promotion of all Internet products and services as needs arise.
Judy Trest brings to the DataQuick a 'virtual' array of marketing and operations expertise with a strong skill set in organizational, administrative and computer domains.
Before joining DataQuick Judy worked for the San Diego HyperMedia Center / McQuerterGroup as Center Coordinator. Judy brought a high degree of computer and technical knowledge to the development of the Center by coordinating the installation of voice, video and data lines and the purchasing knowledge for both hardware and software equipment. She was also responsible for overseeing the class schedules and coordination of the Center rentals.
Prior to the HyperMedia Center, Judy worked for PDQ Contractors as Manager of Operations, responsible for structuring office procedures, computer skills training, facilities management, and "making it all work." At home in cyberspace, Judy introduced the concept and practice of on-line marketing- from marketing research, marketing communications to business development. Judy is talented both in the development of Web Pages that support network commerce and the design and development of marketing databases and competitor tracking systems that target niche markets.
As Office Manager for Tri-County Drilling, Incorporated, Judy implemented and set up a LAN utilizing Windows for WorkGroups for this small 6 person office. In addition to setting up the LAN and e-mail/internet access, Judy developed an extensive WEB page presence for TCD. Judy initiated on-line bid searches to the CBD, The California State Contractors Register and local and military bid sites, that contributed directly to increased efficiency and reduction in administrative costs.
Judy has over twelve years of administrative management experience in business to business high tech markets. As Industrial Security Office Administrator for PURVIS Systems Incorporated, Judy managed the handling and accountability of all security clearances and classified material in the possession of PURVIS Systems for the Department of Defense. Judy also served as a Beta Test Station for PURVIS' e-mail program, PIPENET, developed for the Navy.
