In June 1998 our beloved television series came to an abrupt end with little warning and even less fanfare. Since that time the legions who have battled with CBS have been many and they are spread throughout the world. That battle was partially successful in March of 1999 when filming began on the Television Movie "Revolutions" which aired triumphantly on CBS in May of 1999. Little did we know then of the long uphill battle that would await us to secure from CBS an additional Dr. Quinn Movie. Since that time many letters from the heart have been written, many emails sent, many phone calls made ... with what appears to be little successful.

We understand now that despite a wonderful script by Beth Sullivan that would have included the townspeople of our beloved Colorado Springs, and the heart felt efforts of Dr. Quinn fans that if a movie is to be made at all, it will take place in Canada with only a handful of the original cast.

What CBS, and apparently a handful of others, don't appear to understand is that Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman is the story not just of a romantic couple but of a town that grows and unites to fight the battles and successes that come with progress as a small town continues to grow and become "civilized". Without the townspeople of Colorado Springs to support and nurture our favorite couple as well as disagree and argue with them, how can they too continue to grow and provide us with the insites so important to Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.

The "Powers That Be" in an effort to provide cheap entertainment, do not as we are well aware, provide us with quality entertainment. So many televisions are turned off because of the tone set by the networks who strive for numbers and not quality. So much that appears on television today is mindless or contains gratuitous violence and sex.

So, please help us out by contacting any and all of the people listed below in a way best suited to you. This information is provided in the hopes that united we might find some way to once again gain some measure of success as we have done in the past. I know that its impossible for each of us to get everything we want out of a movie, but good entertainment and old friends should be the key ingrediant we are searching for.
